Parts Of Prof Ocquaye’s Report Should Be Publish for Party’s Sake – Dr Forkuo

A senior lecturer at the Kumasi Technical University, Dr. Solomon Forkuo, has urged the New Patriotic Party’s executives to publish at least some parts of Prof. Mike Ocquaye’s report on the party’s 2024 election defeat.

According to Dr. Forkuo, this transparency would enable NPP members to understand the root causes of their electoral setback and work towards meaningful reforms.

Dr. Forkuo suggested that the report could be categorized into classified and unclassified sections, allowing the party to share critical insights with its members while protecting sensitive information. He emphasized that the party’s problems extend beyond the delegate system, which has been a focal point of discussion. Instead, Dr. Forkuo believes that deeper issues need to be addressed for the party’s revival.

“Some issues ought to be discussed; they shouldn’t be ashamed to discuss it,” Dr. Forkuo said, highlighting the importance of open dialogue and transparency within the party.

By shedding light on the report’s findings, Dr. Forkuo argues that the NPP can take concrete steps towards rebuilding and strengthening its foundation for future electoral success.
