If Your Preferred Candidate Is Put On The Elephant, Things Will Fall Apart In NPP- Top Journalists Reply Ernest Owusu Bempah
Ernest Owusu Bempah has found himself in hot waters for insinuating that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) made a bad choice by presenting Dr. Bawumia as their flagbearer for the 2024 Presidential election.
His position has been met with anguish by three top journalists working for Movement TV and Wontumi Radio.
On the Tuesday edition of Movement in the Morning Political Show, Gordon Asare-Bediako, responded by cautioning Ernest Owusu Bempah to be mindful of comments since it can damage relationships ahead of the 2028 general elections.
“This era is a political transfer season and you are free to move where you want to belong. Just project your candidate” he begun with before adding that so “after you have won, how can you get the support of the other candidate you are denigrating?”
Dasebre Agyei Dwamena also rode on the argument by Gordon by affirming that data doesn’t support the statements attributed to Ernest Owusu Bempah who has been spotted recently in the camp of Hon. Kennedy Agyapong.
He called on the camp of Dr. Bawumia not to sweep the matter under the carpet and respond by also telling the party members why the “other” candidate preferred by Owusu Bempah is also not a right choice.
The main host of the show Kwaku Dawuro, angled in that “the only thing I will say is that everybody knows that Dr. Bawumia is a very credible person. When we talk about credibility and integrity to the party, it is unquestionable. But look at the foul means NDC used on Bawumia and the propaganda they waged against him.”
“Assuming you don’t go with Dr. Bawumia and you decide to settle on the supposed choice of the people, the NPP will suffer during elections. If this is the supposed propaganda against Dr Bawumia, then the other choice if the NPP puts him on the elephant, things will fall apart in the country.”
“Mahamudu Bawumia, with all his credibility you say he isn’t the choice of the party. But the person you claim is the choice of the people, if NDC can wage propaganda against Bawumia then that of your choice would be facts. They won’t design propaganda because there will be pictures, audios and videos and we will throw our hands in despair.”
