a key communicator for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), George Akom, has called on the National Democratic Congress (NDC) government to follow through on their campaign promises, particularly the “reset” initiative they vowed to implement when they were in opposition.
Speaking on the Wontumi morning show, Akom emphasized that President Mahama and the NDC government must do their homework well to deliver on this promise.
Akom also urged the NDC government to take decisive action against illegal mining, citing concerns for the health and well-being of Ghanaians.
He commended the previous government’s efforts to combat this issue, highlighting the importance of protecting the nation’s natural resources.
Furthermore, Akom expressed concerns about biased media coverage, suggesting that some media outlets prioritize party agendas over national loyalty.
