Calling Apostle Kwadwo Safo an illiterate and farmer who resides in the bush was the nadir that destroyed every relationship between Sarah Adwoa Safo and Mike Ocquaye Jnr.
“He said my father stays in the bush and weeds there and hasn’t been to school before. If such words are used against you, would your church members go out and vote? My father is worshipped and respected so if you don’t respect him, none of his church members would go and vote for you”, she said.
Speaking on Movement TV which was monitored by Wontumionline.com, the former Member of Parliament for Dome Kwabenya described Mike Ocquaye Jnr as someone who was full of himself who showed disrespect to Apostle Kwadwo Safo.
“He asked them to compare and choose between someone whose father is a professor and someone whose father is a farmer”, she alleged.
With this type of comparison, the former legislator stated that people were not interested in supporting Mike Ocquaye Jnr to win the seat.
“Who would support you to enter parliament if this is the dirty campaign you are doing?” she rhetorically asked.
Delving on a litany of events that also formed part of the straws that broke the camel’s back, Adwoa Safo accused Mike Ocqauye of riding on a pride driven campaign in Dome Kwabenya prior to the 2024 parliamentary election.
“If you don’t humble yourself before the people of Dome Kwabenya, you will contest hundred times and still lose…I am saying this on authority because the people there are not looking for your money”, she said.
