A lecturer at the Kumasi Technical University, Dr. Solomon Kwarteng Forkuo, has accused President Mahama of hypocrisy for appointing his brother to the same position he previously criticized former President Nana Addo for.
Mahama had denounced Nana Addo for appointing his cousin to a lucrative position at the Jubilee House.
Speaking on Wontumi Tv, Dr. Fokuo claims that Mahama has made several secret appointments, and that there’s pressure from the NDC to create more roles for party loyalists.
He also criticized Mahama’s cabinet appointments, pointing out that 10 out of 19 ministers are from only two regions (North and Volta) and that only two are female.
Dr. Fokuo argues that Mahama’s actions are inconsistent with his previous stance, and that “what’s not good yesterday should not be good today and tomorrow.”
