President John Dramani Mahama has re affirmed his stance on the Free SHS policy.
Delivering the State of Nation’s Address (SONA) on 27th February, 2024, he emphatically stated that he would not cancel the policy.
Some stakeholders have alleged that Mahama plans to abolish the Free SHS programme introduced by the NPP government.
Denouncing these claims, he revealed that his intention is to review the programme, stressing its contribution to the education sector.
