A senior journalist has labelled John Dramani Mahama the President of “broken heart” following his failure to give women a fair representation in his cabinet.
Gordon Asare-Bediako, believes that the current president has used and dumped Ghanaian women after promising them 30% stake in his cabinet only for it to turn out to be 10%.
Addressing the issue on Bɛkyerɛ Mu, a political show which airs on Movement TV every Saturday, Gordon stated that:
“The President has also broken his promise. What hurts most is to give a lady broken heart; he has managed to break the heart of all ladies in Ghana.
He promised them 30% representation in his cabinet but as he named his cabinet yesterday, out of the 19 people, there were only two ladies. When you do the calculation, it is about 10%.”
