Shatta Wale Reportedly Makes Over $35,000 From Recent ‘Jollof Issues’ TikTok Live

In the Ghanaian music industry, dancehall artiste Shatta Wale is known for viewing almost everything from a business perspective, and he has disclosed how much revenue he generated from a recent TikTok Live session.

The TikTok Live session, held on Friday, September 11, 2026, and dubbed “Discussing the current Jollof issues in the country,” saw the dancehall musician dissect the recent back-and-forth between Sarkodie and Stonebwoy.

In a Facebook post shared on September 13, 2026, Shatta Wale disclosed that he made $35,856 from the TikTok Live, which is approximately over GH¢410,000.

He questioned whether people thought his “internet job” was a joke while appreciating individuals who gifted him during the session.

“$35,856 on TikTok. You think say my internet job be play? Thanks to all my gifters,” he wrote.

Shatta Wale cautions fans against attacking people he respects

The dancehall musician brought a fun moment to the TikTok Live session as he dressed up as a lawyer while addressing the recent back-and-forth between Stonebwoy and Sarkodie.

During the session, Shatta Wale took Sarkodie’s side and told Stonebwoy to apologise to the rapper, insisting that Sarkodie’s initial post, which caused the recent reaction from the Afro-dancehall artiste, was not directed at him in the first place.

Shatta Wale also recalled the first time he visited Sarkodie’s house and the memorable advice he received from the “U Go Kill Me” hitmaker’s mother.

According to him, the visit came at a time when he and Sarkodie were having issues, particularly over money, and he had been called to help settle their differences.

Rather than focusing on the disagreement between the two artistes, Sarkodie’s mother offered them advice about supporting one another and taking care of each other as they built their careers.

Shatta Wale also used the Live session to address various other industry-related issues he believes need to be addressed.
