Several established Ghana Premier League players have changed clubs ahead of the 2026/27 campaign, with some of the country’s biggest teams making significant moves in the domestic transfer market.
Defending champions Medeama SC have been particularly active, securing the services of Etse Dogli from Heart of Lions on a three-year deal and Emmanuel Annor from Nations FC as they strengthen their squad for another title challenge.
The Tarkwa-based club, Medeama, have also added Emmanuel Boateng from Eleven Wonders and Ebenezer Adade from Dreams FC, further boosting their options across different positions.
Hearts of Oak have also reinforced their squad with domestic acquisitions. The Phobians signed Abdul Aziz from Swedru All Blacks on a three-year contract, while Caleb Koranteng joined from Victory Club Warriors.
The Phobians have also added experienced forward John Antwi from Dreams FC, in a move expected to provide additional firepower to their attack.
Asante Kotoko, meanwhile, have strengthened their squad with the signing of Emmanuel Sanja from Vision FC, while also bringing in goalkeeper Danlad Ibrahim on a two-year deal.
Elsewhere, Samuel Tenedu has moved from Berekum Chelsea to Aduana FC, while Emmanuel Abban has joined Aduana from Bechem United.
FC Samartex have also secured the services of Meshack Adjetey Sowah from Vision FC, after the midfielder attracted interest from several Premier League clubs.
Gold Stars have bolstered their attack with the signing of Nicholas Amekpewu from Elmina Sharks, while Karela United have brought in Wisdom Jonas Manyina from relegated RTU.
The domestic transfer activity highlights the continued movement of talent within the Ghana Premier League, with clubs looking to strengthen their squads ahead of the new campaign.
The 2026/27 Ghana Premier League season is scheduled to begin this weekend, with defending champions Medeama aiming to retain their crown while Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko seek to challenge for the title.
