Nigerian music star Mr Eazi and his wife Temi Otedola are expecting their first child together, the couple announced Thursday on Instagram.
This comes about a year after one of the most talked-about celebrity weddings in recent African history.
The pair shared the news in a joint post accompanied by photos showing Temi’s baby bump, captioning the announcement with a verse from Jeremiah 1:5.
“Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you, and before you were born, I set you apart.”
The announcement sent social media into a frenzy, with fans, celebrities, and loved ones flooding the comment section with congratulatory messages.
The pregnancy news comes roughly twelve months after the couple’s lavish, multi-continent wedding celebration.
The series of ceremonies began with a private civil ceremony in Monaco on May 9, 2025, followed by a traditional Yoruba celebration in Dubai, and culminated in a white wedding in Iceland.
Estimates for the total cost of the wedding ranged from $10 million to $15 million, with the celebrations described as Nigeria’s wedding of the year.
