Gospel minister, Samuel Opoku, popularly known as Broda Sammy has disclosed one of his utmost dreams as getting Evangelist Diana Asamoah pregnant.
In an interview with Nana Romeo on Okay FM on March 17, 2026, Broda Sammy was asked whether his earlier statements of marrying Diana Asamoah were made out of jest.
In response, the gospel singer maintained that his intentions are genuine and not for fun.
Broda Sammy explained that his actions during the final funeral rites of Diana Asamoah’s late mother should be taken as proof of his seriousness.
According to him, he actively participated in the event by helping to serve, questioning why he would have done so if he did not intend to pursue a relationship with her.
“What I said about trying to get into a relationship with Diana Asamoah is not a joke, I’m very serious about it. If I were joking, would I have gone to help her serve at her mother’s funeral?” he asked.
He went on to state that Diana Asamoah fits his ideal preference, noting that he has a liking for slim women.
Broda Sammy added that while he was previously married, he held back from expressing his feelings directly, but now that he is divorced, he intends to make his feelings known.
“Diana is my type. I like slim women, but because I was married at the time, I couldn’t approach her directly. Now that I’m divorced, I’ll make my intentions clear when I see her,” Sammy shared.
The gospel singer further claimed that Diana Asamoah has lived her life as a virgin and expressed a desire to be the one to disvirgin her and get her pregnant, stating that he believes his words have the power to manifest.
“Evangelist Diana Asamoah is a virgin, and now that I’m divorced, my dream is to get her pregnant because she is my dream girl. I believe one day it will happen because whatever I say with my mouth comes to pass,” he added.
On March 14, 2026, Broda Sammy announced during a discussion on United Showbiz that he had parted ways with his France-based wife, Obaa Yaa.
He explained that during the 2025 Christmas season, while performing at a musical event in Manso, he received a phone call from the head of his family informing him that his then-wife had returned the customary drinks used in their traditional marriage, signifying the end of their union.
