Widows Pray For “Napo” On Boxing Day.

Two hundred and thirty five (235) Widows including the very aged and frail in the Manhyia South Constituency on Monday, BOXING day at separate occasions prayed for their MP, Dr Matthew Opoku-Prempeh.

This was after they had at separate communities within the constituency received specially packaged food items from assigns of the MP.

Mary Oduro, a widow and resident at Mbrom, suburb of the constituency shouted with joy upon seeing the MP’s aides with the food basket.

“I am happy today because just as I had anticipated I knew my MP will never make widows go hungry at this yuletide and I pray he gets all the best blessings from God”, Madam Oduro prayed.

OTHERS:
Madam Yaa Amponsah, another widow and resident of Ashanti new town commended the MP for his continued kindness to widows and the vulnerable in the constituency.

“It’s a good feeling to know that your MP cares for you and to see him do this for the past 8 years is highly commendable and we pray God’s special grace on Dr Napo”, the widow prayed.

Helena Boateng, a frail looking widow at Ahenboboano shed tears when she saw the Napo team enter her home 🏡.

“I had been asking who could help me enjoy this Christmas 🤶  since my children are not around and to see Dr Napo think of some of us is just fulfilling and may God bless him beyond measure”, Madam Boateng prayed.

Joe Waladi Dwumfuor Jnr, a member of the youth wing of the NPP and aide to the Manhyia South MP said the gesture was to make widows in the constituency feel good.

He noted that earlier on the 24th, Dr Napo caused to be distributed to 500 needy persons some food items.

These gestures, he said had been part of the MP’s passion over a decade.

“Dr Napo is a humanitarian and no matter the difficulties we face here as a people he always look out for us and bring smiles on our faces and this boxing day donation is a testament of same”, Joe Waladi stated.
