NPP Newspaper Vendors Leader Roots For Wontumi
The chairman of the Ashanti NPP Newspaper Vendors Association, Bismark Ayensu is campaigning for the re-election of Mr. Bernard Antwi Boasiako as the Ashanti Regional chairman of the NPP.
Mr. Ayensu believes Chairman Wontumi needs more years to continue and finish the good work he has initiated for the party in the region.
According to him, chairman Wontumi is facing opposition which is allegedly orchestrated by the National Democratic Congress (NDC) because he is a threat to the return to power.
“The NDC is behind all efforts at getting chairman Wontumi removed from office”, Ayensu alleged.
The vendors leader explained that Wontumi has a thick skin to counter the machinations of the NDC and urged delegates to retain him as the Regional chairman of the party in the impending elections.
He also therefore appealed to delegates to give chairman Wontumi another chance to enable him make amends and set the party on the right footing for victory in 2024.
