The Co-founder of Afrochella, Ken Agyapong Jnr, has disclosed that the Ghanaian company contracted to print tickets for the 2022 Afrochella concert secretly printed fake ones. He explained that despite their blue, purple and yellow original tickets, there were other orange tickets in the public which he said were fake. Although he refused to reveal the name of the Ghanaian who was contracted to print the tickets, he expressed certainty that the company was responsible for the fake tickets for last year’s concert. Court Fines Bulldog GH¢48,000 For Threatening Akufo-Addo Over Menzgold Saga

An artiste manager, Lawrence Nana Asiamah Hanson, popularly known as Bulldog, has been fined GH¢48,000 by an Accra Circuit Court for threatening President Akufo-Addo on TV. A report by Graphic Online states that Bulldog was found guilty of offensive conduct conducive to the breach of the peace. The court presided over by Evelyn Asamoah, fined the manager. Bulldog’s failure to pay the fine will land him in prison for 40 days. World Bank Forecasts 2.7% Growth Rate For Ghana In 2023

The World Bank is projecting a 2.7% expansion of the Ghanaian economy in 2023, lower than Sub-Saharan Africa average of 3.6%, its January 2023 Global Economic Prospects report has revealed. It is however expecting the economy to grow by 3.5% in 2024, same as it projected for 2022.
