The Black Stars had their first training session at the Kumasi Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Tuesday, September 5, 2023 as they begin preparations for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Central African Republic
The session was held at the Baba Yara Stadium behind close doors
All the invited players are expected in camp today, September 6.
The Black Stars needs a win or draw to secured a place at the 2023 AFCON finals to be hosted by Cote d’Ivoire.
The four-time African champions however need a point from the clash against Central African Republic to finish top of Group E.
With both sides separated by just two points, a place in Ivory Coast is very much up for grabs and this makes for a thrilling affair at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
Ghana were involved in a share of the spoils for the second consecutive game as they played out a goalless draw with Madagascar at the Kianja Barea Mahamasina on June 18.
