Another Win For Chairman Wontumi As He Beats COKA By 112-111

A provisional result from the second zone has been released showing another victory for Chairman Wontumi. The incumbent Ashanti Regional Chairman for the New Patriotic Party beat his closet opponent by 112-111. Prior to this, Chairman Wontumi took the early jab as he has beat Odeneho Kwaku Appiah after ballots were counted. Chairman Wontumi is reported to have polled 115 votes against Odeneho Kwaku Appiah’s 75 votes giving an early indication that Chairman Wontumi would be retained.
