Morocco will host this season’s CAF Champions league final, the continent’s football governing body has announced. CAF received a bid from the Senegalese Football Federation and from the Royal Moroccan Football Federation to host the final of the TotalEnergies CAF Champions League 2022. Nigeria Football Federation To Pay Gernot Rohr $378,000

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has been ordered to pay former coach Gernot Rohr just under $380,000 in compensation after ending his contract early. Nigeria’s longest-serving manager having taken charge in August 2016, Rohr lost his job as Super Eagles coach in December just four weeks before the delayed 2021 Africa Cup of Nations kicked off in Cameroon. ECG Proposes 148% Increase In Electricity Tariff For 2022

The Electricity Company of Ghana wants tariffs to be increased by 148% for 2022 and with 7.6% average adjustments between the periods of 2023 to 2026. The sharp proposed increment, according to ECG, is due to the gap between the actual cost recovery tariff and PURC-approved tariffs as well as the cost of completed projects. The Bank of Ghana is tasking customers to report to the Central Bank any suspicious or unapproved charges from their financial institutions. In June 2021, the Bank of Ghana warned commercial banks and specialised deposit-taking institutions (SDIs) in Ghana to abolish unfair charges in the banking sector.
