2021 BECE Commences Today
The 2021 Basic Education Certificate Examination across the country is commencing today.
A total of 571,894 candidates are writing the Exam with 18,028 schools being the participants.
Social Studies and French are the subjects to be written today.
But in Kumasi High School a total of about 1,000 candidates are writing the Exam.
Some of the schools are, Atonsu Bethel Presby JHS, Atonsu M/A JHS, Bethelinter Academy, The Shepherd School and others.
The Headmaster of Academics for the Kumasi High School, Boadi Kodie told Wontumionline’s Nana Owusu Achiaw that they have encouraged the students adequately.
He expressed the hope that the encouragement would remove the anxiety among the students to enable them to write the exam.
Boadi Kodie added that the encouragement will curb examination malpractices.
