2020 Polls: – Ghana To Develop Rapidly If Akufo-Addo Gets Four More Years- George Ayisi Boateng
Ghana’s Commissioner to South-Africa, His Execllency George Ayisi Boateng says Ghana would be placed on massive developmental track if Akufo-Addo is given another four more years to rule the country.
He chastised the people who are adamant to speak the truth about the wind change that has blown in the country since Nana Akufo-Addo assumed office as President.
“The Founding Member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) who was speaking in an exclusive interview with Oheneba Nana Asiedu on Wontumi Radio/TV on 9/10/2020 recalled that, the country experienced ‘dumsor’ for a couple of years but Akufo-Addo has solved it.
He lamented that, Ghanaians were paying electricity tariff, yet were in ‘dumsor’.
“At some point I received a tariff of ¢12,000 so I protested about it even that I used a year and a half to pay it.” He said
His Excellency Ayisi Boateng urged Ghanaians not to forget their root because God has been good to them since Akufo-Addo became President.
He said that, for sometime past, parents had to sell their fabrics to get money and form queues in Senior High Schools (SHS) before they can get placement for their wards.
“At first if you didn’t hail from a wealthy family, you can’t enroll in the big SHSs in the country.” He added
According to the Ghana’s High Commissioner to South-Africa, President Akufo-Addo has introduced the free SHS to ease burden on parents re-emphasizing that Ghanaians shouldn’t forget the hardship they went through in the previous years.
“Should Akufo-Addo had inherited Kufour’s administration, the country would have grown rapidly.” He noted
The Ghanaian diplomat cautioned electorate to vote massively in order to send John Mahama far away from the Presidency.
