2020 Elections: Akufo-Addo Leads In 270 Constituencies, Followed By Mahama

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is projected to be named as President of Ghana based on results that have trickled in from the various constituencies.

Collation by Wontumionline.com based on some 270 out of 275 constituencies gives the incumbent a big lead over the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress, Mr. John Dramani Mahama.

Currently, President Akufo-Addo’s lead over his closest opponent is over 500,000 votes.

Out of the number of 270 constituencies, President Akufo-Addo had bagged 6,579,032 votes representing 51.4%.

Former President John Mahama has polled some 6,022,617 votes representing 47.1%.

The Electoral Commission is mandated to declare the winner of the election but based on the projections by Wontumionline.com, the outstanding constituencies to be declared is 239,564.
