The second round of the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League (GPL) bounces back today after a one-month break.
League leaders Karela United will host AshantiGold at the Crosby Awuah Memorial Park (CAM) in this matchday 18 fixture.
The Ayinese-based outfit finished the first round on top of the league with 31 points. They lost just one game at home against Asante Kotoko in the first round.
Karela are key contenders for the league this season and will be hoping to kick start the second round on a good note with a win at home against AshantiGold.
Elsewhere, Asante Kotoko will travel away to Eleven Wonders in this matchday 18 fixture to be played at the Ohene Ameyaw Park in Techiman.
This will be the first game for Kotoko coach Mariano Barreto since taking charge of the club.
Kotoko have made some new additions in the second transfer window with the signing of Sarfo Taylor and Michael Vinicius to strengthen their attack ahead of the second round of the season.
The Porcupine Warriors are eyeing the league trophy this season to make a return to the Africa club competitions.
Kotoko finished the first round in the fourth position with 27 points with an outstanding game.
Hearts of Oak will host Aduana Stars at the Accra Sports Stadium in this topliner for the week.
