1D1F: Govt Not Sleeping To Partner Private Sector To Create Jobs- KMA Mayor
The Mayor of Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA), Hon. Sam Pyne has flatly rubbished claims by a section that the government has failed to partner the private sector with the 1D1F program to create jobs.
According to Hon. Sam Pyne, the jobless people are unhappy when some people criticize the 1D1F program.
The KMA mayor was speaking at the 2 day Job, Career and Entrepreneurship Fair organized by the YEA in Kumasi which was monitored by Wontumionline’s Nana Owusu Achiaw
He said the issue of unemployment is not only peculiar to Ghana rather the entire world.
“Joblessness push people to do the unnecessary and it’s very worrying if you are jobless,” the KMA Mayor said.
He sobbed that the situation of recruitment of people into security agencies tells how the unemployment issue in the country is.
“The YEA must be commended for organizing the job fair,” Hon. Sam Pyne said.
He urged the job seekers to be circumspect and pay attention to everything that would be transpired at the fair.
