100% Endorsement For Bosomtwe DCE Nominee
President Nana Akufo-Addo’s nominee for Bosomtwe District Assembly in the Ashanti Region, Hon. Lawyer Joseph Assuming was Monday retained as Chief Executive by the Assembly.
Lawyer Joseph Assuming secured an overwhelming endorsement by polling 50 out of the 50 votes cast, representing 100 per cent, to be the DCE.
The retained DCE expressed gratitude to the Assembly members for the massive endorsement.
The emotionally retained DCE in an interview with Wontumionline’s Nana Owusu Achiaw stressed that “I am very excited, delighted and honoured for the overwhelming votes.”
According to Lawyer Assuming since he has been ascertained as the DCE, he will collaborate with the Regional Minister and the MP for the area to fix the poor road networks in the constituency.
He said he will enhance the Assembly’s revenue collection to enable him to execute his task.
For his part, the Ashanti Regional Minister, Hon. Simon Osei Mensah commended the Assembly members for the overwhelming votes.
He called on the members to maintain cordiality between them and the retained DCE.
